Ethan Zuckerman claims that when he created the pop up code, he was working with Tripod then, and then it went viral. Well, the creation is annoyingly successful, But now he said he regrets it just a little bit, and has apologized in an online essay, stating that the intentions were good.


He also said that he was only looking for a way for anyone to be heard across the world when he first designed the code. I definitely think that goal was met.
