This is not something that happens very well, so once it happens you become worried.Well this happens for a reason, one of them might be a plugin misconfiguration, your internet service provider or another issue I cant really say.

but hey, there’s a quick solution:

How To Fix WordPress Admin Dashboard Error Display

Solution 1:
It is possible its a Proxy or Firewall tool that is currently blocking your css files from loading, so what you need to do is

  • Check if your Internet connection is behind a proxy connection or firewall.
  • Clear the Cache or cookies.
  • Refresh the Page

Solution 2:

Another possibility is that there is a plugin you have just added to your site.

  • Deactivate any newly activated plugins
  • Upgrade your plugins that need upgrading
  • Or deactivate all plugins and reactivate one by one to see which is the culprit.

Solution 3:

This should definitely work, all you need is to add a small line of code to your WP-config.php file.

  • Go over to your wp-config.php file
  • Add define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false); before this line: require_once. (Be sure JavaScript is enabled)
  • Then save.

Thats all. :D

i hope it fixes your WordPress admin dashboard error.

    Hello Ahmsta,

I used to have a similar challenge…thought nothing of it and always refreshed the page – which worked always. That bit of adding code is novel anyway – and very much appreciated!

Do have a very great day!

    Always,
